Composite fibre (ES & sea-island) production line

This line produces bi-component (ES and sea-island) fibre (side-by-side, sheath-core and sea-island structures), used mainly for PU leather, yarn, wool fabric, silk textile, and the medical and sanitary fields.

Capacity ranges from 3,000 to 15,000 T/Y depending on the line configuration.

Sea-island fibre is a Nylon/Co-PET bi-component polymer; after alkaline treatment the Co-PET component dissolves away, leaving 37 fine-denier Nylon filaments that give a suede-like soft touch and excellent wiping performance.

Composite and sea-island fibre from this line is mainly used for artificial/PU leather, microfiber wipers and high-density fabrics.

The difference is structural: this is a bi-component line, where each filament is spun from two polymers (the sea-island version uses Nylon/Co-PET), then treated with alkali to dissolve the Co-PET away, leaving 37 ultra-fine Nylon filaments. The other three lines produce single-component fibre: the PSF and high-tenacity PET lines spin staple fibre from recycled PET bottles, and the one-step PP line spins from virgin PP chips. Capacity is lower too: 3,000–15,000 T/Y against 3,000–50,000 T/Y for the two PET lines and 3,000–20,000 T/Y for the PP line. Note: the manufacturer does not publish a fibre specification table (denier, cut length, tenacity) for this line, so those figures need confirming directly at quotation.
