A striped needle loom is a needle-punching machine used to produce striped carpet with a crisp stripe effect on a needle-punch production line.
It uses a grille-piece web-support plate together with a row-based needle layout to form even, sharp stripes across the carpet surface. A stable framework with a magnesium-alloy needle plate, PU coating and air-bag lock keeps operation steady at a frequency of 900 punches/min, while a working width of 2200–5600mm, a 30mm needle stroke and a needle density of 5000n/m suit decorative and floor-covering carpet. A large oil-tank main shaft with automatic lubrication and cooling helps form even, durable stripes.

For plain, even stripes the striped loom is enough; for multi-colour designs you need the pattern loom.
