Product overview
The circular comb is card clothing mounted on the combing cylinder of a cotton combing machine, used to strip short fibers, neps and impurities and to lay fibers parallel during the combing stage that precedes spinning.
The resulting sliver is cleaner, more even and carries fewer neps, which supports finer, stronger yarn. White Shark builds two types, a tooth-plate circular comb and a circular comb for cotton combing machines, using high-grade imported materials and a patented conical-tooth technology that keeps the tooth tips sharp, smooth and wear-resistant. The tooth structure is digitally modeled, and combined-assembly combs carry 90°/110° carding surfaces plus a range of needle-bar density combinations, so they card flexibly to protect fibers and save cotton. Once the teeth wear, neps rise and sliver evenness drops.
Vina Nonwoven supplies genuine White Shark card clothing, advises on the carding surface and tooth density that suit your combing machine, and takes made-to-order requests — please contact us for a quote.
